European Ocean Days 2025 took place in Brussels from 3 to 7 March 2025. On the first day of the week, the Mission Matchmaking Event promoted collaboration and connect different Mission stakeholders and communities including Charter actions, projects, research and innovation, businesses and investors. On the second day, the 3rd Annual Mission Ocean and Waters Forum brought together over 1800 experts and innovators to drive real action for ocean and waters restoration. It showcased innovations, discussed funding, and examined the Mission’s future role in EU priorities like the Ocean Pact.

The organizer of the Matchmaking Event announced that participants will have a chance to continue meetings online until the end of March through the matchmaking platform.
